Wax molds are a commonly used casting method. Investment casting mainly consists of mold manufacturing, wax mold manufacturing, shell mold manufacturing, and subsequent processes such as drying, roasting, pouring, and solidification. Wax molds are used to form the mold cavity of castings. In order to obtain castings with high dimensional accuracy and surface finish, wax molds themselves should have high dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
